Yoga in the Gallery

Unwind with a restorative morning yoga session, and be inspired by the art and architecture of the AGO. Registered yoga teacher Karmit Ifrah will lead gentle sessions of Hatha Yoga, promoting balance, strength, flexibility and stillness in the mind.

Your evening starts over drinks and conversation, then our artist-instructor leads you through drawing demonstrations and creative exercises that can deepen your understanding of art and the evolution of imagery. Gallery admission, sketching supplies and drink Included in fee. The registration receipt must be presented at the start of each class. Please check any oversized bags and outerwear.

Art and Ideas: Making Her Mark

Inspired by the exhibition, Making Her Mark: A History of Women's Art in Europe, 1400-1800, the AGO welcomes art historians and creatives for a series of three in depth conversations.

This AGO program consists of a series of portfolio review sessions geared toward emerging artists.

Each artist will have 30 minutes to present their body of work or ask for specific advice on a work in progress. Each portfolio reviewer will be meeting 4 artists individually to review their physical portfolio.

Please submit one PowerPoint slide which includes a portrait image, a 35 word artist bio, and an image representative of your practice. Please be advised that your registration will be confirmed only upon the submission of these materials to [email protected]
